Derived from Jojoba oil, these esters are used as skin softening components - their composition is very similar to the composition of human sebum, so that an allergic reaction is almost impossible. Of course, like all oil-based components, they moisturize the skin very well and generally have a positive effect on it. Appreciated for their extreme resistance to oxidation - including their much longer shelf life than coconut, castor and some mineral oils.
